My Journey with ASA

My ACCA journey stands as one of the most defining phases of my academic and professional life. I completed the majority of my papers through ASA, and it laid the foundation for everything that followed in my career.

A special mention goes to Mr. Abeel Ahmed, more than a teacher, a mentor whose guidance extended far beyond the classroom. His support was never limited to lectures or exams; even today, he remains a constant source of advice, direction, and clarity whenever needed.

From a student focused on clearing exams to now serving as Head of Finance in a fast-paced steel production and trading company in the Middle East, this journey has been both demanding and transformative shaped significantly by the right guidance at the right time.

One thing I will never forget is his closing words at the end of every session:

“Apki mehnat aur apke parents ki dua apko bohat kamyabi dilwa sakti hain. Har banda different hota hai, lekin at the end, do your best and leave the rest to Allah.”

He would also often remind us that the effort behind our education carries a deeper sacrifice.. our parents’ dedication in bringing us to this stage, and that they deserve a return through our success. Coming from a middle-class background myself, this always resonated deeply with me and stayed with me beyond the classroom.

I remain deeply grateful to ASA and especially to Mr. Abeel Ahmed for their unwavering support and mentorship. Some influences don’t just help you pass exams, they shape how you think, work, and grow.
