Planning your AA study
Audit and Assurance answers need a clear connection between the scenario, the audit issue and the work proposed. When practising, identify the evidence you need and explain the purpose of the procedure. A generic instruction to check a document is less useful for learning than a precise description of what you would inspect and why.
Try an active study task
Take a short audit scenario from your own study materials. Separate the risk, its possible effect and the response into different lines. For a proposed procedure, name the source of evidence and the assertion it addresses. Review whether your answer actually responds to the facts given.
